December 7, 2006; Anglo Canadian Uranium Corp. (URA on TSX.V) (the “Company”) and its wholly owned subsidiary Anglo Canadian Gold Corp. is pleased to announce partial results from its recent sampling program at the Princeton, B.C. Copper / Gold / Palladium Project. These results were collected from a recent prospecting program conducted by company geologists and consultants. Sampling results were assayed by ACME Analytical Laboratories of Vancouver, B.C. Highlights from this program include samples of 43% Copper (Cu), 28.16 g/t Gold (Au), and 18.19 g/t Palladium (Pd), a 3 metre chip sample from this showing revealed 15.76 % Copper, 12.26 g/t Gold an >10 g/t Palladium. A partial summary of this sampling program is included in the table below. The Company has been actively drilling the Princeton Project since October, with nine (9) holes completed and more planned for the next exploration period as weather permits.
These high grade samples come from an area known as the Friday Creek Showing. The showing consists of massive bornite outcrops within a syno-diorite. This diorite is in contact with a Monzonite that is intruded by a pyroxinite to dunite dyke. The dyke has been explored in the past but has not been adequately sampled for either gold or PGM’s. The dyke covers an area of 100-200m wide by an indeterminate length. The above sample results reveal a potential for hosting gold and palladium. Approximately 1.5 km further to the north-west, near highway #3 the Platinum claims hold Porphyry Cu-Au-Pd potential. No samples are available from this area and diamond drilling is ongoing.
Approximately 2 km to the south east on the east side of the Similkameen River lies the Rico Showing. This showing consists of massive to semi-massive phyrrotite and pyrite in Nicola group siltstones and chert. Gold and copper values range up from 0.2- 24g/t Au and 0.2- >1% Cu. Geophysics and drilling is planned for this exiting target.
Management views these results as extremely positive, and will continue its drill program as weather permits. The Princeton Project lies approximately 5 km south of the Newmont Ingerbell mine. This mine operated for over 20 years with the final year of production producing 40,545,000 pounds of copper, 83,500 ounces of silver and 27,000 ounces of gold. Historically, the Princeton region has been a prolific copper-gold producing area.
